Pacific Crest Trail

Saturday I went out to East County to do my long run on the PCT. It was a beautiful, started up at Mount Laguna, where there was still a decent amount of snow from earlier this week. Run varied between 5000-6000 ft elevation, started out snowy and ended up muddy. Was able to get about 18 miles in.

Snow on the trails!
Nice to know I wasn't alone!

Along the PCT

Trail up to Granite Peak

Putting my feet up at Granite Peak around 15miles.

Yes, you can find this in San Diego.

  1. Sara, looks like a very challenging trail run. Watch out for the mountain lions! Sounds like you made a great investment to get better sleep!
