PCT mile 2190.5
Everyone at camp slept in this morning and it felt so good. This was my second night in a row of 9+ hours of sleep and I really needed it as my body is starting to feel depleted of rest and sleep. Hornsby said it well when he woke up this morning, "sleeping is so good."
With two nights of solid sleep behind me and a little less weight in my pack from all the food I consumed yesterday, I felt much lighter on my feet than I did yesterday. I was happy to feel some renewed energy on the trail. Entering Washington and having a change in scenery and terrain helps a bit too. Washington is so green and beautiful.
